Travel-World Photography
Our trip to Beijing was made in February 2007. We travelled as part of a charter group, as solo travel in a country with such different language is a challenge. The trip included the Beijing city with is temples , the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, as well as the Great Wall, factory visits (of course!), visit to a hutong, people watching, and theater performances. We also got to see an exposition of The Terracotta Women, made by Marianne Heyerdahl, the daughter of the famed explorer Thor Heyerdahl.
