Iguaçu Falls - Argentina

Iguaçu Falls spans the boarder between Argentina and Brazil. The falls are the most impressive on earth. The falls in each country is similar, but each have their unique characteristics. Therefore, the falls on the Brazilian side may be found in the Brazil section of this website.

 

The water across the falls comes from the Iguaçu river, having a watershed in the Southern region of Mato Grosso in the great Pantanal region, the worlds largest wetland, having an  estimated area between 140,000 and 195,000 km2.
