Wat Phra Kaew & The Grand Palace

The Wat Phra Kaew is located next to The Grand Palace of Thailand. The palace used to be the residence of the King. The Grand Palace covers an area of about 220,000 m2. and is surrounded by four walls, 1900 m long. The Palace is an incredible place, with intricate, detailed decorations everywhere. The colors are white, red, blue and gold.

 

The Wat Phra Kaew is deemed to be the most revered temple in Thailand. Among other features, it includes The Chapel of The Emerald Buddha, which is beautifully surrounded by courtyards of countless majestic, all inspiring examples of exquisite Royal architecture through the millennia.
