A modern shopping center lies within walking distance from the city. On the way, we passed another church, this one with a onion cupola clad with gold. The shopping center had several of the chain stores found in Western Europe. While in Riga, we used the opportunity to purchase a bottle of Riga Balsam. This is said to be very healthy.
