Travel-World Photography
Seattle is located on the Puget Sound, an inlet of the Pacific Ocean. In the city, the Lake Washington is a dominant feature. The city is sheltered from the big ocean by the Olympics Peninsula. The population of the city proper is about 750 000, but the metropolitan area has population of about 4 million.
We visited the city and the surroundings when we visited family, at the time we lived in California.
Note: The photos in the folders above were taken with my first SLR camera, exposed on diapostive color film, then stored in an uncontrolled environment for 50 years, and subsequently scanned in a flatbed scanner. The en result is not very good resolution, color shift, dust spots and other artefacts. But the pictures convey the experiences we had during our travels.
