Ronda

Ronda is located at en elevation of 750 m, and has a population of about 35.000. The history of Ronda goes back to the pre-neolithian times. However, the first real settlement were by the Celts around year 600. From then onwards, a several rulers dominated this unique place. Located North-West of Malaga, the city spans a 100 m deep gorge dug out by Rio Guadalevín. A land depression below provides areas for agriculture.
