Olympic Peninsula

The Olympic Peninsula is a large arm of land in western Washington shelters Puget Sound and Seattle, having mountains higher than 2400 m. The Olympic National Park. covers 9 300 km2, and contains a temperate rain forest. The Olympic Peninsula contained many of the last unexplored places in the contiguous United States.
