Myra is located 150 km west of Antalya along the coast. The ancient Greek citizens worshiped Artemis, who was the protective goddess of the town Myra. Artemis was the goddess of the hunt, the wilderness, wild animals, nature, vegetation, childbirth, care of children, and chastity.
