Monchique
Monchique is located towards the Western end of the Algarve, and is the highest point in the region, at 902 m. From the top, the view is unretricted in all directions. The town Monchique is located down the hillside, at a sloping terrain. The picturesque town is compact with with narrow streets. Several buildings hace colorful decorations, like many other Portuguese towns.
