Our trip to the Philippines anded with a short stay in Manila City. Manila is located on the Western side of Luzon island. The city is the capitol of the Philippines, and has a population of about 1,85 million. It is a modern city with highrise hotels and buildings. But at the same time, the contrast is enormous to the poor population, living on just the next street over from the main street along the bay.
