Loulé

Loulé is a town located North of Faro, having a population of about 70.000, thus being the largest in the Algarve. Its history goes all the way to the Stone Age, probably due to its strategic location in a rich agricultural district. Today, Loulé is a business and cultural center. On top of a neraby hill, lies a modern church open to all dominations. For tourists, the fleemarket open on Saturdays is an intersting spot for people watcching.
