Lido di Jesolo is a seaside resort town of about 26 000 inhabitants north og Venezia itself. It serves as a "feeding town" for trips to Venezia. However, Lido di Jesolo has its own nice beaches and other attractions. But, we had the very worst pizza we have ever tasted. And this was Italy!
We did not join the tour group, and went on our own to Venezia on the first evening, and the days thereafter.
