Koh Sameth is an island located in the Bay of Bangkok, South East of Bangkok. Travel time from Bangkok to Ban Phe is ablout 3-4 hours on a good road. Ban Phe is the the ferry terminal for Koh Sameth. The island is for the most part, a national park, is very lush with palm trees right to the waters edge. All buildings are one story, and blends into the forest behind. Being on the East side of the country, there are no ocean breaker, and thus an ideal vaction spot for families with children.
