We had a nice drive around the countryside in Hambleden Valley, which is located a few kilometer downstream River Thames from Henley. It is a fertile valley, having a lot of history.
A notable feature is the Hambleden Lock across the Thames. The lock plays an important role, as the English waterways were crucial do transportation of goods in and out of the territory. It is also the site of a mill, the first one built around year 1100.
