Glasgow

Glasgow is the larges city, with about 630 000 inhabitants. It sits on the River Clyde, and the old ship building industry has left its mark on the city. Since this is an old city, the buildings are from several periods, and are in general faily tall, sa compared to most other cities. But in later years, new architecture may be observed in several areas.  A characteristic sight are the blue police phone boxes, from an age before the mobile phones.

We traveled to Glasgow by air to Edinburgh and took a bus to our destination, an old hotel in Glasgow.
