Geneva has been an international hub for a long time, with a number of international organizations, as well as international banking, insurance companies and the like. Plus a renowned watch industry.
In spite of all that, the population is only about 200.000, making it to a very pleasant city to visit, with its old town as well as the more modern parts. Located on the end of Lake Geneva, it has a pleasant climate.
The pictures in this folder were mostly taken during several visits to the city in the 80-ies, and scanned from film and paper copies.
