Fjellbacka

Fjellbacka got its name from the "fjell" = mountains, and "backa" = hills. The town is located on a narrow strip of land, underneath some steep rocky hills. Fisheries are still a major activity. The minicipality has less than 900 inhabitants.

 

Fjellbacka is the birthplace of the famous Swedish actor Ingrid Bergman. There is a statue of here in a central location.
