While visiting Malta in 2016, we happened to run across a private collection of classic cars. Malta has an ideal climate for driving small, open sports cars. And when the British military left the island in 1974, many servicemen sold their cars, as the weather in England is not so suitable!
Many cars were bought by Richie, a former race car driver. He then assembled a collection of cars in the lower floor in his building i Malta. However, one car was placed outside to function as the advertizing sign.
He thereafter restored the cars himself to prime condition, including making new upholstery where needed. A man of many talents, as well as very friendly!
