Walking the city, and in particular in the Old Town, is a very enjoyable experience. The streets are filled with locals and tourists, but seemingly at a leisure pace. The buildings are very well maintained. Traditional shops and shops from international brands may be found at a number of places. In particular glass wares from Bohemia is internationally known. Actually the founder of Swarovski is from northern Bohemia. We ended up purchasing a globe, made of precious stones.
Being a city with a very strong affinity to music, we experienced several ticket sellers on the streets, and ended up enjoying two unplanned performances.
