Cappadocia Rock Formations

The sedimented rock in Cappadocia consists of several layers with different hardness. In some areas, the rock is strongly eroded, leaving pillars of sharp rock standing "in formation". In other areas, a denser layer has protected the looser under laying rock, forming pillars that in some places strongly resemble phalluses.

In the Balloon Trip folder, these formations gave us an otherworldly impression.
