Canada - Vancouver

Vancouver is 230 km north-west of Seattle along the Inner Passage, and has a population of 675 000. The city is located on the tip of a peninsula, and with a bridge across the waters in the north for access to the suburbs there.

The Stanley Park is located on the very tip of the peninsula, and provides access to the water on all sides. In addition, Vancouver has made access to the water along long stretches of shoreline, in contrast with most other cities. Commendable!

We stayed overnight in a bed-and-breakfast on the north end of the bridge. There a big bathtub was placed in the middle of the main room. From there we explored the Capilano Suspension Bridge, and the Grouse Mountain bu cable car.

The fishing harbor is found at the south end og the city. There a large fu\ishing fleet was docked during the Sunday we visited.
