Riga some of the most impressive architecture in Europe. Thus, a separate folder is reserved for those images. The streets in the Old Town are narrow, and in some areas, the old city wall and their gates are still standing. Among them are the Swedish gate from the century long period when Latvia was part of the Swedish Empire. But not all buildings are in good repair - the last image in this folder is of a derelict house right across the street from our modern hotel.
