We stayed in a small hotel on the Buda side, from where we walked most places.
From Buda hill there is a nice view of the Hungarian Parliament across the river, as well as across to the main areas of Pest, which covers the largest part of the city.
The St Stephen's Basilica is located on Buda Hill. It is one of the most important landmarks in Budapest. The Catholic church stands in a central position in Pest and is a true symbol of the city: a work of art and a wonderful place to listen to organ concerts.
