Antalia is a city located on the southern coast of Turkey. The weather is fairly mild during the winter months, but the mountains are usually covered by snow. During the summer time the temperature is quite hot. So the best seasons for visits are during the Spring and the Summer.
The metropolitan area of Antalia (also written as Antalya) has about 2.6 million inhabitants. In the area, many other smaller cities are located, like Belek and Myra. The area has a highly developed tourist industry, and the whole coastal area has many large hotels, most of those with a very high standard.
